My favorite sound recording of 2009-10 would have to be 25 to life by Eminem. Eminem has always been one of my favorite rap artists next to Tupac. He writes about personal yet universal topics in his songs. I literally played this song everyday the first weeks. I have never been put in the situation he is in the song but the words he uses in the song feels real and deep. His tone in voice make him sound powerful and the beat makes me nod my head.

One of my favorite oldie song is Lean On Me by Bill Withers. I like this song because it has a lot of meaning to it. It could be for a loved one or a friend, and you will always be there for them. It show them how much you really care and love them. His voice and words puts it all together.

I recently became an Eminem fan for the very same reason. I cant relate to what hes been through, and thank god for that! but his lyrics are raw and the emotion behind the song is powerful.
